Career Technical Education Programs

Miami-Dade County Public Schools Technical Colleges is designed to prepare you to enter the career of your choice through its fully accredited seven technical colleges located in Miam-Dade County. There are over 60 affordable career training programs to choose from that are aligned with local industry demands. Our training programs prepare learners through hands-on training or apprenticeship. Upon completing any of job training programs, students will obtain the skills needed to earn a certificate or license required to join the workforce.

Our post-secondary training provides pathways in the areas of Industrial/Technical, Health/Medical, Business/Computers, Family and Consumer Sciences, as well as Public Service and transportation. Courses are designed to meet the needs of working adults and are available during the day or evening, as far south as Homestead and as far north at Miami Lakes. In addition, we offer General Adult Education programs which prepares individuals with foundational skills needed to learn English as a second language and/or prepare for the GED® or High School Diploma, or to become a naturalized citizen.
