Hemodialysis Technician
A dialysis technician who works with patients is in charge of assembling the machine, making sure it is in working order and ensuring it is sterile.
Introduction:
To instruct individuals in area of hemodialysis to provide care to clients in either an acute or chronic setting. The program is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge that is needed to become a professional healthcare provider, providing exceptional care.

Completion Requirements:
The entire program is 600 hours. Certain Adult Education Centers do not offer all components of the program. Full completion of the program may be completed at a Technical College. Students can earn a certificate at the completion of the following Occupational Completion Points (OCPs):
