Commercial artists use a variety of computer software and design skills to create art that meets a visual needs. Commercial artists are responsible for the layout and design of magazines, newspapers, journals and other publications. Commercial artists enjoy creating graphics for television, social, digital and other computer-generated media.

Completion Requirements:

This entire program is 1500 hours. Students can earn a certificate at the completion of the following Occupational Completion Points (OCPs):

OCP A Graphic Designer 450 Hours
OCP B Digital Designer 450 Hours
OCP C Print Media Artist 300 Hours
OCP D Web Designer 300 Hours
  Total Hours: 1500
