Computer Systems & Info Technology – CompTIA Certificate Program

The primary mission of the Computer Systems Technology program is to provide quality educational training designed to meet the current and future needs of the Computer Electronics Community.
Introduction:
The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment or advanced training in a variety of occupations in the Computer Systems and Information Technology industry. This program focuses on broad, transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the following elements of the information technology industry; technical and product skills, underlying principles of technology, planning, management, finance, labor issues, community issues and health, safety, and environmental issues. The course content includes, but is not limited to, communication, leadership skills, human relations and employability skills; and safe, efficient work practices.

Completion Requirements:
The entire program is 900 hours. Students can earn a certificate at the completion of the following Occupational Completion Points (OCPs):
